My entry point into theatre, like so many of us, is as an actor and that point of view has informed everything I do as a theatre maker. After receiving an degree in Social Work and a minor in theatre, I went to graduate school and received my MFA In Acting at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jim Wren, Be Boyd, John Gulley, and the late Alan Cook and Marsha Paludan opened the world to me through their teaching.

I have been a teacher of acting, been an actor in small professional theatre and companies, in readings and most recently developed my solo play, the things i forgot.
