As a playwright I’m drawn to stories that are messy, redemptive, and laced with humor—stories rooted in grace and change. I believe in theatre as a tool for social impact, and I write with that purpose in mind.My plays live in a range of spaces—universities, prisons, churches, and theatres across the U.S. and one in Canada.

I create theatre to spark connection—to ignite those moments when the world tilts just enough to remind us we're not alone. Here on my website, I am highlighting a number of plays that have been produced with production photos and including a full list of plays with descriptions. You can also find my work on New Play Exchange.

For me, theatre is about immersion and impact.

I’m drawn to theatre for its power to provoke, to connect, to wake us up. It should seize our attention, invite our participation, and carry us somewhere—whether deeply familiar or entirely imagined. It’s a shared space where cell phones go quiet (mostly), minds turn on (hopefully), and imaginations are set loose. A space where stillness can move us, together.

When I write plays, I’m chasing that magic. I want to craft moments that stir something—moments of connection, reckoning, recognition. Moments that remind us what it is to be human, together.

A play can comfort or confront, inspire or unsettle—but when it lands, it lingers. That’s why I make theatre. To be part of creating those rare, unforgettable exchanges between story and audience. The kind that follow you home.
